Being in rhythm with the perpetual motion of the city. It is a run club of thousands of strangers. It is running under the rackety transit cars and the orchestra of traffic horns then turning into a quiet borough with quaint cafe's and children walking themselves to school. It's a passage through cultures and centuries. It is navigating the financial and court districts where financiers, brides and grooms, convicts and lawyers mingle. It's the vignette of millions of comedies and tragedies. It is to witness nature burgeoning amid the concrete jungle where ever present is the mark of humans expressing themselves in all their light and dark. Running in New York City is moving through the meta of life in all its extremes all at once.
